Traditional Scottish Drinking Vessel Quiach is a Scottish term from the Gaelic word "Cuach" for cup.

It is traditionally used for whiskey and brandy. Originally the Quaich was made from wood, however, since the 17th century it has been crafted in pewter when it was used by Clan Chiefs to welcome visitors or bid them farewell.
