Framed Fredericton Walking Bridge Ornament
$103.45
This pewter Fredericton Walking Bridge Ornament comes in a 7.5 x 7.5" frame.
The Bill Thorpe Walking Bridge, approximately 581 metres long, was built in 1889 for the Canadian Pacific Railway. Heavily damaged in 1935, it was rebuilt by 1938. Converted to a pedestrian and cycling path in 1997, it offers stunning views of downtown Fredericton and links the Sentier NB and Trans-Canada Trails. Renamed in 2008, this cherished bridge exemplifies Fredericton's dedication to recreational development and scenic urban connections. It's also among the longest pedestrian bridges on the Trans-Canada Trail.
With some exceptions, we will be making these framed items to order. Please allow 2-3 business days from time of order to enable us to make one for you.
