Rockwood Park Ornament

 As one of Canada's largest urban parks, Saint John, New Brunswick's Rockwood Park is an inspiration for the spirit, a sanctuary for the soul. That's what Calvert Vaux, the landscape architect who designed the park, would have wanted. Vaux, one of the designers of New York City's Central Park and the grounds that surround the White House was passionate about integrating buildings, bridges, and other forms of architecture into their natural surroundings. Encompassing more than 2,200 acres, Rockwood Park offers outdoor activities during all four seasons, everything from rock climbing to cross-country skiing. And because it lies within the UNESCO designated Stonehammer Geopark, it's a great place for geocaching.
