With a life span of about 25 years, polar bears are among the largest predators in the world and weigh up to 1700 pounds. The World Conservation Union estimates that there are between 20,000 and 25,000 polar bears worldwide.
Materials + Care
Caring for your pewter
Wash after use with warm water and a mild soap. Jewellery and pieces that don't touch food or drink can also be cleaned with Windex and paper towel. Never put pewter in the dishwasher.
Polished (shiny) finish: bring back the shine with a jeweller's rouge cloth. We use Fabulustre, but any rouge cloth from a hardware or jewellery store works.
Satin (matte) finish: buff out scratches and dullness with a Scotch-Brite or scouring pad, rubbing with the grain.
