Details

Celebrate Atlantic Canada's largest city with our Halifax Waterfront Ornament. This beautifully handcrafted piece commemorates the city's historic significance, including Captain James Cook's transformative contributions.

From 1758 to 1762, Cook refined his surveying skills in Halifax, creating groundbreaking charts that revolutionized navigation in Atlantic Canada and propelled trade, military operations, and growth.

Our ornament captures this legacy, offering a timeless tribute to Halifax's storied past and its lasting influence on the region.

Materials + Care

Caring for your pewter

Wash after use with warm water and a mild soap. Jewellery and pieces that don't touch food or drink can also be cleaned with Windex and paper towel. Never put pewter in the dishwasher.

Polished (shiny) finish: bring back the shine with a jeweller's rouge cloth. We use Fabulustre, but any rouge cloth from a hardware or jewellery store works.

Satin (matte) finish: buff out scratches and dullness with a Scotch-Brite or scouring pad, rubbing with the grain.

Shipping + Returns

Free shipping on Canadian orders over $125 and US orders over US$200. US prices include import duties, so there's nothing to pay on delivery.

In-stock pieces ship within 1-2 business days.

Every piece begins as molten pewter. Jewelry, ornaments, frames and coasters are cast, chased and finished; mugs, goblets, vases and bowls are spun on a lathe. Each one is polished by hand before it's packed. All our pewter is lead-free and nickel-free, a good choice if other jewellery irritates your skin.
